Carl Leon Sides Sr., 79, of Vidor, died Thursday, April 7th, 2022 at his residence in Vidor, Texas.
He was a longtime resident of Vidor and a member of St. Maurice Catholic Church in Orange. He enjoyed hunting and being outdoors or working on his truck. He loved his gardens and spending time with his family. Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral of Vidor. There will be a visitation at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor from 6:00PM until 9:00PM Monday, April 11th, 2022. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Saint Maurice Catholic Church in Orange, Texas at 10:00AM Tuesday, April 12th, 2022. Interment will follow at Williamson Cemetery in Vidor, TX. Carl is survived by his wife Maria Sides of Vidor, TX, his children, Ada Lena and husband Charles Ortolon of Orange, TX, Melvin Delbert and wife Ayla Sides of Vidor, TX, Howard Lee and Kayla Sides of Orange, TX, and Johnny Lee and wife Tiffany Sides of Kalamazoo, MI, as well as 20 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and son Carl Leon Sides Jr.
