Carl Anthony Messina

Carl A. Messina, 71, of Vidor died Saturday, September 13, 2014 in Vidor. A native of Beaumont, TX, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Carl was owner/operator of C & M Auto Repair, was an ASE Certified Mechanic and was a past member of the Vidor Chamber of Commerce. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor, with burial to follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Beaumont. A gathering for family and friends will begin at 6:00 pm and a Christian vigil at 7:00 pm Friday, September 19, 2014 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Carl was preceded in death by his wife Lee Messina, parents Carl and Mary Messina, aunts Mary Henningson and Inez McBride. He is survived by his son Michael Messina and his wife Janice, daughters Lee Ann Aldrich and her husband Paul, Carla Peppers and her husband Lee, and Mary Whitaker all of Vidor, TX, 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.
