Cammie Lee Mooney

Cammie Mooney, 94, of Vidor, TX died Monday, December 18th, 2017 in Orange, TX. A native of Ville Platte, LA she was a longtime resident of Vidor. She liked to study her Bible and work in her garden. Cammie loved cooking, especially her roasts that everyone loved. Visitation will be Thursday, December 28, 2017 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 29, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at LaVille Funeral Home in Ville Platte, LA with interment to follow at St. Andrews Cemetery in Plaisance, LA. Cammie is survived by 1 daughter; Jo Ann Ashmore and her husband Thomas of Orange, 1 son; Andy Fontenot and his wife June of Phoenix, AZ, 1 step son; Jimmy Mooney and his wife Ann of Vidor, 1 step daughter-in-law; Aileen Mooney also of Vidor. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren; Jeff Fontenot and his wife Sheryl of Williamsburg, VA, Amy Wiegand and her husband Matt of Ft. Worth, TX, and Eric Limbocker and his wife Brittany of Dallas, TX, 3 great grandchildren; Lucien, Vivienne, and Ryleigh. Cammie was preceded in death by her husband; Robert Mooney, 6 sisters and 4 brothers, numerous step-grandchildren and nieces and nephews
