Calvin Perry Cunningham

Calvin P. Cunningham, 96, of Vidor, died Friday, January 18th, 2013 at Oakwood Manor Nursing Home in Vidor. A native of Tyler, Calvin has lived in Vidor since 1947 and was a retired journeyman electrician. Calvin was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Vidor, Master Mason with the Vidor Lodge # 1286, and a member of Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #914 in Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Memorial Funeral Home. Calvin is survived by his daughters Virginia Blair and husband Joe of Dallas, and Frances Christensen of Rapid City, SD., John Larry Tillman, and Grace Missledine both of Jessup, GA., nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
