Bruce Wallace Crossley, Sr.

Bruce W. Crossley, Sr., 90, of Vidor died Thursday, January 15, 2009 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, TX. A native of LaRue, TX., he has lived in Vidor for 58 years, and was a retired carpenter after 34 years with Mobil Oil Refinery. He served his country in the United States Army during WWII. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 18, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home. Bruce was preceded in death by his wife Trudie Crossley, parents Jim and Lena Mae Crossley, son Harry Sutphen, brothers Sam Crossley, William Crossley, and Hubert Crossley, sisters Ella Boles, and Clara Dalton. He is survived by his wife of 20 years Geraldine Rich Crossley of Vidor, sons Wallace Crossley of Port Neches, and Kerwin Sutphen of The Phillipines, nine grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
