Brian "Red" Hitchcock, 72, of Vidor, TX died Tuesday, June 2nd, 2020 in Spurger, TX. A native of Good Hope, MS he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Red served his country during Vietnam with the U.S. Marine Corps and was a member of the Vidor VFW Post #8246. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his buddies. Visitation will be Thursday, June 4, 2020 beginning at 6:00p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 5, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home. Red is survived by 3 daughters; Brandi Hale and her husband David of CA, Rachella Hitchcock of WI, and Bridgett Hitchcock also of CA, 1 son, Michael Hitchcock of WI, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, 1 sister; Patricia Taylor of Vidor, 1 niece; Trish Taylor of Vidor, 1 great niece; Janessa Taylor, 1 aunt; Jackie Jeffcoats of Mauriceville, TX and 1 uncle; James Jeffcoats also of Mauriceville, TX. Red was preceded in death by his parents; James and Mary Hitchcock, 1 brother; James Mitchell Hitchcock and 1 nephew; Roy Lynn Taylor. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor.
