Brenda 'Sissy' Darlene Jones Dougharty

Brenda 'Sissy' Jones Dougharty, 53, of Doyline, LA., died Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Willis- Knighten Hospital in Shreveport, LA. A native of Vidor, she has lived in Doyline for 15 years and was owner-secretary of Thoroughbred Floor Services in Doyline. Sissy was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, April 5, 2013 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Sissy was preceded in death by her father Everett Wayne Jones, niece Jessica Lynn Jones, and nephew Eric Wayne Jones. She is survived by her husband Louis Dougharty and son Jeremy Godeaux both of Doyline, LA., mother Glenda Jones, brother Ricky Jones, and sister Vikki Jones Saunders all of Vidor, nieces Cherie' Jones of Nederland, and Laura Holder of Amarillo, great niece Brianna Griggs of Lockhart, TX., and great nephew Easton Holder of Amarillo, Texas.
