Braulio Galaviz

Braulio Galaviz, 90, of Vidor died Thursday, September 27th, 2018 at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont. A native of Doty, TX, he was a longtime Vidor resident. Braulio retired from the US Army and served his country in the Korean War and Vietnam Conflict. After he retired from the Army he worked for Brink's for 13 years. He loved cats and thought of himself as a handyman around cars. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, October 5, 2018 at Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Braulio is survived by his wife of 68 years Ambrosia Galaviz of Vidor, TX, daughters Nina Reynolds of Hutto, TX, and Trina G. Minton of Vidor, TX, son Braulio Anthony Galaviz of Beaumont, TX, sisters Juanita Cardenas of Rose City, TX, Delores Becerra and Mary Lois Gutierrez, 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior's.
