Bonnie Lee "Aunt Bonnie" Barnes

Bonnie L. Barnes, 81, of Vidor died Saturday, October 21st, 2017 at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. A native of Mobile, Alabama, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Bonnie was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Vidor. She taught primary for over fifty years and was a temple worker for more than ten years. Four generations of kids have called her Aunt Bonnie. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm Monday, October 23, 2017 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 am Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Days Saints in Vidor, with burial to follow at Williamson Cemetery. Bonnie is survived by her husband and high school sweetheart Charles Franklin Barnes, children and spouses Charles Brandon & Sheila Barnes, Leslie Alvin & Meredith Barnes, Brian Lee and Tracey Barnes, Charla Elizabeth Barnes-Alldredge, siblings Mabel Wright, Doris Barron, Michael Thompson and James Arnold Thompson, grandchildren Brandon & Becca Barnes, Chase & Katy Barnes, Eric Barnes, Ryne Barnes, Joshua & Jessica Barnes, Michael Alldredge, Jacob & Tara Alldredge, Colleen Alldredge, Samuel Barnes and Sarah Barnes, great grandchildren Brielle, Curtis, Reed, and Linae Barnes.
