Bobby Ray Harris, Sr, 58, died Tuesday November 4, 2003 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. He lived in Vidor since 1963. Bobby was a retired machinist with Texas Metal Works. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday November 7, 2003 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Del-Rose Cemetery in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday November 6, 2003 at the funeral home. Bobby was survived by his wife of 41 years Ruth Harris of Vidor, TX., son: Bobby Ray Harris, Jr . and wife Bernadette of Vidor, TX., daughter: Angie Harris of Vidor, TX., mother: Vodine Hart of Jasper, AL., brother: Danny Hart of Jasper, AL., sisters: Janice Brown of Jasper, AL., Dorlis Jent of Vidor, TX., 6 grandchildren: Billy Ray Harris, Steven Ray Harris, Tiffany Ann Kelly, Amber Nicole Harris, Bobby Ray Harris III, Rosemary Andrews.
