Bobby Joe Watkins

Bobby Joe "Stumpy" Watkins, 65, of Vidor, TX died Tuesday, April 23rd, 2019 at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont, TX. A native of Pt. Arthur, TX he was a longtime resident of Vidor and enjoyed playing golf, fishing working on motors, and cooking. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family. Stumpy is survived by 2 daughters; Heather and Stephanie Watkins both of Vidor, 7 grandchildren, 1 sister; Kathy Watkins-Oaks of Vidor along with numerous nieces and nephews. Stumpy was preceded in death by his parents; Ogden and Eva Watkins, 2 brothers, Bill and Gary Watkins, and 1 sister; Sandra Watkins-Hight. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor.
