Bobbie Dean Block

Bobbie Dean Block, 86, of Vidor, died Thursday, July 30, 2021 at Harbor Hospice Hospital in Beaumont. She was a longtime resident of Vidor and member of Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal Church in Vidor. She was a homemaker, who loved journaling, cooking, playing stringed instruments, singing, collecting guns, and most importantly spending time with her family, friends, and her pets. She was an excellent mom, cook, and seamstress. Visitation for Bobbie will be Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Her funeral service will be Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor at 2:00 PM with interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. She is survived by her children Judy and husband Lonnie McCabe of Vidor, TX, Debbie Ducharne of Vidor, TX, Milton Gregory Block of Vidor, TX, Karen Rhame and husband Charlie Martinez of Vidor, TX, and Julie and husband Darrell Mouton of Sulphur, LA, sisters Audrey Conn of Vidor, TX and Ruby Jasper of Vidor, TX, 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband Elllsworth (Doodie) Genrty and second husband Milton Hyman Block, brothers Lloyd Cargill Sr. and infant brother Aubrey Cargill, sisters Berniece Holden, Mildred Fleming, and Johnnie Chambliss.
