Billy Tommy Sanders

Billy T. Sanders, 79, of Mauriceville died Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at his residence. A native of Bronson, TX., he was a longtime resident of Mauriceville, and was a heavy equipment crane operator with Local Union #450. Billy served his country during the Korean and Vietnam Wars and later retired from the United States Marine Corps. Billy was a member of the Pine Forest Masonic Lodge #1420. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at 4:30 p.m. at Centerview Cemetery in Bronson, Texas. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, April 12, 2013 at Memorial Funeral Home. Billy was preceded in death by his previous wife Georgina Sanders, his parents, two brothers, two sisters, four grandchildren, and one great grandchild. He is survived by his wife Martha Sanders of Mauriceville, daughters Francie Moss and husband Mike of El Reno, OK., Linda Hodge and husband Joe of Vidor, Maria Sanders and fiancé Dan Wachholz of Groveport, OH., Dolores Phillips of Humble, TX., son Billy Sanders Jr and wife Sharon of Evadale, step-daughters Tammy Hamper and husband Bob of Morrice, MI., Tracy Sims and husband Tom of Langsburg, MI., and Theresa Rainey and husband Patrick of Mauriceville, step-sons David Haas and wife Nancy of Morrice, MI., and Gordon Haas and wife Dawn of Bancroft, MI., sister Mary Ellen Donaldson of Kirbyville, eighteen grandchildren, and seventeen great grandchildren.
