Betty R. Moore, 75, of Vidor died Thursday, September 8, 2005 at Promise Specialty Hospital in Port Arthur, TX. Betty was a resident of Vidor since 1963. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor and was a Homemaker. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 10, 2005 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. and a Christian Vigil will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, September 9, 2005 at Memorial Funeral Home. She was preceded in death by her husband George Moore, Jr, 1 sister and 3 brothers. Betty is survived by her sons: Lamar Moore of Vidor, TX and Jessie Fred Moore Jr of Mauriceville, TX, daughter: Linda Moore of Silsbee, TX, sisters: Helen Schoth of Many, LA, Gustava Meshell of Zwolle, LA, grandchildren: Christy Lyons, Joshua Langley, Amanda Moore, Justin Moore, Jessie Fred Moore III, great-grandchildren: Ashlyn Tantillo, Kiersten McGlothlin.
