Betty Jean Wright

Betty J. Wright, 86, of Vidor died Wednesday, September 29th, 2021 at Silsbee Oaks Health Care in Silsbee, TX. A native of Sour Lake, TX, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Betty was a member of First Baptist Church in Vidor, she was a longtime Sunday School teacher for 65 years, a loving homemaker, she loved listening to the Glory Band and loved to garden and travel, Betty was proud to be resident of Vidor, and worked as an election clerk, she loved spending precious time with family and friends, loved the Lord and her family above all else. Betty always thought of everybody's happiness. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. There will be a visitation Friday October 1st, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Vidor from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a funeral the following day Saturday October 2nd, 2021 at 2:00 PM also at First Baptist Church of Vidor. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Betty Jean Wright is survived by her husband Weldon Wright of Vidor, TX her sons Glen Wright and wife Kathy, and Terry Wright and wife Carol, both of Vidor, TX, her niece Micki Loar and husband Chris of Vidor, TX, as well as 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister Pat Loker.
