Betty H. Irvine, 76, of Vidor died Monday, April 30, 2012 at Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. A native of Ashdown, AR., she has lived in Vidor for 51 years, and was a retired florist with Wrinkles Florist and Ginny's Florist. Betty was a member of Pecan Acres Baptist Church in Vidor, a member of the Azalea Garden Club and the Red Hat Society. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Pecan Acres Baptist Church in Vidor under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Beaumont. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Pecan Acres Church in Vidor. Betty is survived by her husband of 57 years George Irvine of Vidor, son Jerry Irvine and wife Barbara of Vidor, daughter Connie McGuire and husband James of Corsicana, TX., brother Doy Swan and wife Sue of Lumberton, sisters Joanne Wolfsberger of Lumberton, and Phyllis Moore of Vidor, three grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
