Betty C. Spencer

Betty Correne Spencer 87, born June 29, 1929 in Hoxie, Arkansas passed this life September 19, 2016 in Vidor, Texas.She grew up in Popular Bluff, Missouri. Moved to Rockford, Illinois as a young adult, while there she played in a woman’s softball league. She met and married Bert Spencer and had two sons while living in Rockford. Then moved to Vian, Oklahoma where she lived most of her life. Moving to Sallisaw, Oklahoma in 2010. After suffering a heart attack in 2012 she moved to Vidor, Texas. She enjoyed fishing, sewing, gardening, cooking and most of all family and friends. She was preceded in death by 6 brothers Leslie Pinkston, Don Pinkston, Roy Pinkston, Neal Pinkston, Jerry Pinkston, Roger Pinkston, Daughter
Correne Spencer, and Granddaughter Whitney Miller.
She is survived by 2 Sons Richard Spencer and wife Doris of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, David Spencer of Muskogee, Oklahoma, 1 Daughter Shellie Haeggquist and husband Brad of Vidor, Texas, 6 Grandchildren Laura Miller, Vanessa LeBeau, Joe Haeggquist, Tracy Maines, Andy Haeggquist, Joshua Haeggquist, 12 Great Grandchildren Sarah Mays, Sidney LeBeau, Jordan LeBeau, Addisyn LeBeau, Drew Maines, Spencer LeBeau, Nyah Maines, Henrietta Haeggquist, Devan Maines, Campbell Haeggquist, Sage Haeggquist, Sianna Haeggquist and 1Great Great Granddaughter Cadee Rae Mays. Memorial services will be Saturday, September 24th at 1:00pm at Old Faith Chapel Baptist Church, 2000 hwy 12, Vidor, Texas
