Juanita Talcott, 93, of Vidor, TX died Sunday, December 3rd, 2017 in China, TX. A native of Hulbert, OK she was a homemaker and was a resident of Vidor since 1939 who enjoyed working in her yard and garden, crocheting and knitting. Juanita was a seamstress and a member of Christ Community Church. She was also a former secretary of the African Violet Association. Visitation will be Thursday, December 7, 2017 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be Friday, December 8, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home with interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Juanita is survived by 3 sons; Earl Talcott and his wife Janelle of Vidor, Frank Talcott and his wife Jo Ann of Vidor, and Donald Talcott and his wife Bea of Beaumont, 1 daughter; Linell Talcott Soileau and her husband Stanford of China, TX, 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by 3 sisters; Oleta Steeley of Hulbert OK, Leota Lawson of Wagner, OK and Lola Saxon of Telequah, OK. Juanita was preceded in death by her husband; Clifford "Red" Talcott and sister; Loreta Moore. After graveside services family and friends will meet at Holiday Inn Express in Vidor. If you wish to bring a dish you drop it off at Holiday Inn Express at 9:30 am before the funeral service.
