Bernice Juanita Mc Daniel Carter

Bernice J. Carter, 81, of Vidor died Monday, March 18, 2013 at Oakwood Manor Nursing Home in Vidor. A native of Douglas, TX., she has lived in Vidor since 1947, and was a retired seamstress with The Fair Store in Beaumont. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Memorial Funeral Home. Bernice was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Harold Carter, her brothers Alvis T. McDaniel, and Virgil McDaniel, and her sister Joyce McDaniel Hodges. Bernice is survived by her sons Rex Carter and Arthur T. Carter, Sr and wife Denise, daughters Ann Freasier and husband Bob, Karen Cavel and husband Lonnie all of Vidor, six grandchildren: Arthur 'Art' Carter, Jr., Courtney Freasier Scott and husband Adam, Robert Freasier and fiance Ashley Guillott, Jaime Carter, Aaron Carter, and Kyle Cavel.
