Bernard R. Mcclain

Bernard R. McClain, 76 of Sargent, TX died Tuesday, June 30th, 2020 at his residence. A native of Beaumont, TX, he was a longtime resident of Sargent. Bernard served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. He loved reading, watching movies, and playing games on computer. Bernard also enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, July 2, 2020 at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Bernard is survived by; 2 daughters; Marla Case and her husband David of Sargent, Leslie McClain of Kansas City, KS, 1 son; David McClain and his wife Rose of Springfield, MO, 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandson, 1 sister; Debbie Martinez of Vidor, TX, 1 brother; Patrick McClain of Vidor. He was preceded in death by his wife; Bettie McClain, 1 son: Michael McClain and 1 sister; Sandy Dollarhide.
