Bennie "Mike" Michael Anding

Mike Anding, 66 of Vidor died Friday, November 17, 2017, in Buna, Texas. A native of Pitkin, LA, he was a longtime time resident of Vidor. Mike was a Police Officer for 40 years and worked in Bridge City Police Department, Silsbee Police Department, Orange County Sheriffs Department and he retired from the Vidor Police Department after 30 years of service. He was a member of Victory Bible Baptist Church, a lifetime member of the NRA and CLEAT law enforcement association. Mike was an avid fisherman and hunter. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Monday, November 20, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Mike is survived by his wife of 42 years Ima Jean Anding of Vidor, TX, sons David Sirmons of Silsbee, TX and Kent Anding of Vidor, TX, father Bill Anding of Orange, TX, brothers Pat Anding of Oberlin, LA and Randy Anding of Orange, TX, sister Diane Rayborn of Vidor, TX, grandchildren Blake Sirmons of Vidor, TX, Makayla Sirmons of Vidor, TX, and Weston Anding of Vidor, TX, step granddaughter Lauren Dearing of Orange, TX, 3 great grandchildren Tuff Sirmons of Vidor, TX, Carson Moore of Orange, TX and Emma Dearing of Orange, TX. In lieu of flower, donations can be made to the Blue Santa Program in Mike's name.
