Barbara Jean Lyle, 89, of Vidor, TX entered into eternal rest Saturday, July 16th, 2022. She was a lifelong resident of Vidor and member of Pine Forest Baptist Church. Earlier in her life she was one of the founding members of Maplecrest Baptist Church. She was a devoted homemaker who loved her family dearly and taught her children by example what real love meant. Her quiet acts of kindness and helping others demonstrated a selfless love, a reflection of her Lord and Saviour. Throughout her life she enjoyed varied church activities and hobbies, but family remained her greatest joy. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. There will be a visitation Saturday, July 23rd, 2022, at 10:00 AM followed by the funeral service at 11:00 AM at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, three siblings, her husband Wallace LaVelle Lyle, an infant daughter, her son Theron, one grandson and a daughter-in-law. Barbara is survived by her children, Wallace Roger Lyle of Cypress, Texas, Debra Lynn Padia of Beaumont, TX, and her daughter-in-law Denise Lyle of Vidor, TX, as well as 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
