Barbara Ellen Jackson

Barbara Ellen Jackson, 62, of Mauriceville, TX died Monday, October 15th, 2018 at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont, TX. A native of Oakland, CA she was a longtime resident of Mauriceville and a graduate of Vidor High School. She loved to crochet but she especially loved to spend time with her nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday, October 18, 2018 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Vidor. Barbara is survived by 3 sisters; Deborah A. Smith, Connie F. Jackson and Tammy L. Strickland and her husband Frankie, all of Mauriceville, 3 brothers; Mark Jackson and his wife Donna of Vidor, David Jackson of Mauriceville, and Carl Jackson, Sr. and his wife Stacy of Vidor, 1 nephew; Carl Jackson, Jr., 1 niece; Chelsey Jackson and numerous nieces and nephews. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; Connie L. and Phyllis Jackson and 1 brother; Michael Anthony Jackson. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor.
