Barbara Ann Williams, 81, of Vidor, went to be with The Lord on Wednesday, May 4th, 2022. She died peacefully surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Clarks, Louisiana on July 21st, 1940 to Imo and Jack D Franklin. She graduated from French High School in Beaumont, Texas. She retired from Bealls / Stage store after 27 years of service. She loved traveling with her family and her grandkids over the years. She married Don R Williams and was married for 49 years. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Services will be held Saturday, May 7th, 2022 at Maplecrest Baptist Church, with the visitation beginning at 1:00 PM and the funeral starting at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Barbara is survived by her children, Tom Perry and Jessie of Houston, TX, her siblings, Dempsey and wife Margaret Franklin of Vidor, TX, Linda Sturm and husband Lynn of Vidor, TX, and Dona Simmons and husband Ricky of Lumberton, TX, her grandchildren R.J. and wife Victoria Powell of Vidor, TX, Will Hampshire and wife Elizabeth of Buna, TX, Tiffany and husband Tommy Williams of Buna, TX, Chloe Perry of Houston, TX, and Chasity Arledge of Vidor, TX, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Jack and Imo Franklin, her brother James Franklin, and her sister Beverly Franklin, and son Bobby Powell.
