Barbara Ann James

Barbara A. James, 73, of Vidor died Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at Christus Dubuis Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Alexandria, LA., Barbara was a longtime of resident of Vidor, and a homemaker. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with entombment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. and a Rosary will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 7, 2014 at Memorial Funeral Home. Barbara was preceded in death by her brothers Robin Duplissey, and Dwayne Duplissey. Barbara is survived by her husband Vincent James, sons Russell James, Bobby James, and Randy James all of Vidor, sisters Carolyn Pate and Janelle Pitcher both of Orangefield, and Valerie Jones of Little Cypress, TX., and nine grandchildren: Jessie, Aaron, Sarah, Kristin, Kevin, Marcus, Michael, Breanna, and Dalton.
