Vidor, Texas - April Dawn Smith, a beloved resident of Vidor, passed away on Friday, June 16th, 2023, at her home. She was 51 years old. April was known for her warm heart, infectious laughter, and unwavering love for her family.

April was a longtime resident of Vidor and she was cherished by all who knew her and will be remembered for her vibrant personality and caring nature. April found immense joy in spending time with her grandbabies, who were the light of her life. She adored them and cherished every moment shared with them.

In her leisure time, April could often be found playing games on her phone or engrossed in her favorite soap operas. She had a mischievous side and loved pranking people, bringing laughter and cheer to those around her. April had a remarkable ability to be there for everyone, offering her unconditional love and support. She was a compassionate listener and a dependable friend, always ready to lend an ear or a helping hand.

April is survived by her three children: Bobby Vincent of Vidor, TX; Cortney Jones and her husband Shon of Vidor, TX; and Crystal Morgan and her husband Jimmy of Vidor, TX. She also leaves behind her siblings: Tammy Weber and her husband Charles, Theresa Smith, Patricia Odell, Donnie Smith Jr. and his wife Carol Lynn, Monica Smith, and Melissa Barfield. Additionally, April will be deeply missed by her eight grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.

The funeral services for April Dawn Smith will be announced and scheduled for a later date, providing an opportunity for family and friends to come together and honor her memory.
