Anna Lucille Adams

Anna Lucille Fuller Adams, 93 of Vidor entered heaven on December 27th, 2016. She was born April 29th, 1923 to "Bob" and Levina Fuller of Newton, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. W. of 73 years, grandson, Clark Young, her parents, brother Elmer Fuller and sister Louise Woods. She is survived by her children Jettie Young (Monty), Sharron Aycock, Shannon Adams (Dell), sister in law Margaret Andrews, 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends. "Ms. Lucy" served as a school secretary for 22 years and always strove to further her education. After retirement she and J. W. enjoyed traveling, camping, gardening and was an avid bird watcher. She served at Pine Forest Baptist Church in many capacities. She was truly a Proverbs 31 Woman, loving her family with all her being, her home and yard always reflected her desire for beauty. She was a mighty warrior for almost 15 years, after suffering a stroke, but she kept her faith in God. Visitation will be at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor on December 30th, from 6 to 9. Services will be at Pine Forest Baptist Church on December 31, at 10 am, with interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. The family wishes to express appreciation to the many caregivers, especially Melissa Brady, Susan Bandeaux and Alyssa Hollingsworth of Carolyn's TLC of Vidor.
