Anna Jean Sweat

Anna Jean Sweat, 80, of Vidor, TX died Friday, April 28th, 2017 at her home. She was a lifelong resident of Vidor who enjoyed cooking and listening to religious music but she especially enjoyed spending quality time with her family. Visitation will be Friday, May 5, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Fullerton Pentecostal Church in Fullerton, LA with interment to follow at Blue Branch Cemetery in Pitkin, LA. Anna is survived by 1 daughter; Kathy Jackson of Vidor, 1 son; Ronald Sweat of Abbeville, LA, 6 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren, 3 sisters; Lee Craig, Ann Dean, and Kay Williams, and 3 brothers; Rene' McFarland and his wife Tracie of Vidor, Lee Mack Self, Jr. of Vidor and Gene Self of Beaumont, TX. Anna was preceded in death by her husband; Willie Edward Sweat, 1 brother; Ronnie Self, and 1 sister; Jan Self.
