Anita Gertrude Duhon Simon

Anita G. Simon, 57, of Vidor died Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont. A lifelong resident of Vidor, she was a Administrative Assistant with The Oaks of Beaumont. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, February 22, 2013 at Memorial Funeral Home. Anita was preceded in death by her step-father Junior Baker. She is survived by her husband Chester Simon of Vidor, daughter Amber Gibbs and husband Guy of Vidor, and step-daughter Amanda Simon of Orange, mother Mary Baker of Vidor, sisters Angie Fontnow and Betty Lambert both of Vidor, two grandchildren: Caddie Jo Gibbs and Logan McFarlin.
