Andrew J. Jacobs, 61, of Vidor died Sunday, March 16, 2008 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Houston, TX, he was a lifelong resident of Vidor. Andrew was an Electrical Designer for Englobal Engineering in Beaumont. He was a member of River of Life Church in Vidor and served his country in the US Air Force during the Viet-Nam era. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at River of Life Church in Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at Memorial Funeral Home. Andrew is preceded in death by his first wife Nancy Jacobs, mother Melvia Jacobs and son Shane Elliott. He is survived by his wife Mary Jacobs of Vidor, TX, sons Joey Jacobs, Brian Elliott, and Joshua Brevell all of Vidor, TX, daughters Greta Jacobs Mee and Angie Cassidy both of Houston, TX, Tiffany Sanchez and Lee Ann Leach both of Vidor, TX, father Andrew Jacobs, Sr of Vidor, TX, brother David Jacobs of Vidor, TX, sister Brenda Roberts of Lumberton, TX, and 23 grandchildren.
