Ancie “Dinky” Bell Rodgers, 82, died Thursday, October 17, 2002 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, TX. A native of Fuqua Way, TX. She has lived in Vidor for 40 years, and was a homemaker. Funeral services will be Monday, October 21, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor in Vidor, TX., with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor, TX. Visitation will be Sunday, October 20, 2002 at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. She is survived by her husband Roy Rogers of Vidor, TX., sons Jimmy L. Burrell of Vidor, TX., Ira Rogers of Gilchrist, TX., daughters Annie M. Jasper, Frances J. Dicklus, Betty Roth McGaw all of Vidor, TX., Jessie Jean Ashworth of Mobile, AL., Cindy Mard of Vidor, TX., Sherly Cotton of Kerrville, TX., sisters Mary Strickland of Cleveland, TX., twenty-two grandchildren, and seventeen great grandchildren.
