Ambrosia Galaviz

Ambrosia Galaviz, 88, of Vidor, TX died Friday, May 24th, 2019 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, TX. A native of Beaumont she was a longtime resident of Vidor who liked gardening and feeding and watching birds. Ambrosia was known to be a very strong woman and loved to spend quality time with her family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday, May 30, 2019 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be Friday, May 31, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home with interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Ambrosia is survived by 2 daughters; Nina Reynolds and her husband Tim of Hutto, TX and Trini Minton of Vidor, 1 son; Tony Galaviz of Beaumont, 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She is also survived by 4 sisters; Ruby Ochoa, Vivian Manriquez, Connie Carreon, and Martha ArchieBeque and 1 brother; Gabriel Villfano. Ambrosia was preceded in death by her husband; Braulio Galaviz and daughter; Ambrosia Miller.
