Allen Edward Griffith

Allen E. Griffith, 54, of Vidor died Monday, February 2, 2009 at his residence. A native of Wheeling, WV., he has lived in Vidor for 11 years and was a construction insulator with Local # 22. Allen served his country in the United States Army. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 6, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 5, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home. Allen was preceded in death by his son Joseph David Griffith, parents Erwin and Ruth Griffith, and his brother Billy Griffith. He is survived by his wife Terry Griffith of Vidor, sons Edward Corey Griffith of Port Arthur, Brian Keenon of Vidor, Scott Hensler of Hinesville, GA., Kevin Keenon of Winnie, and Jay Keenon of Silsbee, daughters Kathryn Colleen Griffith of Galveston, and Takisha Beth Dougherty of Vidor, brother Carl L. Griffith of Munnsville, NY., and Chuck Hurley of Vidor, sister Dawn Staple of Durhamville, NY., andnine grandchildren.
