Agnes Opie

Agnes Opie, 83, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Orangefield, she has lived in Beaumont for 3 years, and was homemaker. Agnes loved crossword puzzles and playing scrabble. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with cremation to follow at Haven of Rest Crematory in Orange. Agnes was preceded in death by her son Phillip Opie. She is survived by her husband Donald Opie, and son John Judson, Jr both of Beaumont, daughters Linda Judson of Houston, Brenda Aldred, Donna Opie, and Sandra Marquez all of Beaumont, brother Chris Squez of Beaumont, sister Marie Ledger of Fort Worth, thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
