Agnes "Lavern" Watson

Agnes "Lavern" Watson, 82 of Vidor, TX died Tuesday, January 30th, 2018 at The Meadows Nursing and Rehab in Orange, TX. A native of Bolivar County, MS she was a longtime resident of Vidor. She loved gardening and was a former member of the Vidor Garden Club. Lavern was also a member of the Church of God in Vidor. Visitation will be Friday, February 2, 2018 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home. Lavern is survived by her husband: Jimmie H. Watson, 3 daughters: Jimmie Ann Billings of Denver, CO, Linda Gail Lambert and her husband Russell of Plano, TX and Elizabeth Rose Rosser of Hueytown, AL, 1 son: William R. "Bill" Watson and his wife Connie of Vidor, 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 2 sisters: Maureen McGriff and Juanita Dykes, both of Vidor. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor.
