Adelia M. Price, 95 of Vidor died Monday, July 14, 2008 at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont, TX. Adelia was born April 6, 1913, in Starks, Louisiana to Wade and Lovie Poole. She has been a resident of Vidor since 1951, and was a retired sales clerk from the White House Department Store. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Vidor and the glory band. Adelia was a 50 year member of Vidor Chapter #914 order of the Eastern Star and an AARP Chapter Member. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 17, 2008 at First Baptist Church of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at Memorial Funeral Home. She was preceded in death by her husband W.R. Price, Sr. She is survived by her sons Rodney Price of Vidor, Wade Price of Baytown, daughter Eva Singletary of Little Rock, AR., brother Ray Poole of Port Arthur, sisters Eva Oglesbee, and LaVerne Clotiaux both of Beaumont, nine grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
