Adam Romero, 91, of Vidor, TX, died Friday, February 15th, 2019 at his home. A native of Youngsville, LA he was a longtime resident of Vidor. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. Adam worked as a carpenter for most of his life and was a life member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles and the American Legion #49 in Orange, TX. He also volunteered as the Blue Santa in Orange with the VFW Lodge 2775 and the American Legion. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am at Memorial Funeal Home of Vidor and the graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, February 22, 2019 at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Adam is survived by his wife; Joyce Romero of Vidor, 5 daughters; Elaine Stevenson of Vidor, Janice Clever and her husband John of Maurice, LA, Judy Richard and her husband Howard of Church Point, LA, Melinda Faulk of Beaumont and Kathy Lewis of Vidor, 2 sons; Early Romero and his wife Deborah of Delcambre, LA and Ernest Romero and his wife Barbara of Maurice, LA, 2 step-daughters; Lucretia McDonnall and her husband Thomas of DeRidder, LA and Wendy Gallien and her husband Jamie of Athens, AL, 2 step-sons; Wesley Fairchild and his wife Tina of Vidor and David Fairchild and his wife KeKe of Mauriceville, TX. Adam is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, great-great-great grandchildren, 2 brothers; Fred Romero and his wife Lorraine of Abbyville, LA, and Percy Romero and his wife Jeanette of Jacksonville, MS and 1 sister; Lydia of Church Point, LA. Adam was preceded in death by his first wife; Dorothy Romero, 2 daughters; Linda Henson and Audrey Warner and 2 sons; James Romero and John Romero
