Adam "Apa" Gonzales Apodaca

Adam Gonzales Apodaca, 71 of Vidor died Tuesday, August 20th, 2019 at his residence. A native of Houston, TX, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Adam retired from the education field and enjoyed fishing, gardening and collecting. Most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was a graduate of Aldine High School class of 1966 and was a member of Renegade Roundup. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, September 1, 2019 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Adam is survived by his wife of 51 years Theresa Apodaca of Vidor, TX, sons Adam Galaviz Apodaca Jr. of Spring, TX, Andy Reyes of Spring, TX, Richard Reyes of Cypress, TX, and Clarence Russell of Sour Lake, TX, daughter Anna Russell of Sour Lake, TX, sisters Solia Roman of Somerville, TX and Connie Hernandez of Houston, TX, brother Joe Apodaca of Houston, TX, 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
