Willis A. Jaster, 81, of Vidor died Thursday, March 25, 2004 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Carmine, TX, he lived in Vidor for 53 years. Willis was a retired Electrician foreman for Beaumont Reserve Fleet. He served his country during WW II in the U.S. Army as a German Interpreter. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 27, 2004 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at 4:00 p.m. at Hill Cemetery in Roundtop, TX. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Friday, March 26, 2004 at the funeral home. Willis is survived by his wife: Ruth Jaster of Vidor, TX., son: Wayne Jaster and his wife Judy Boyd of Kountze TX., daughters: Dorothy Jaster Steele and her husband Colbert of Vidor, TX., Sherry Smith of Vidor, TX., sisters: Junice Walther of Houston, TX., Gladys Krause of Roundtop, TX., grandchildren: Christie Fore, Jennifer Mulhern, Jessica Peyres, Jamie Smith, and Cassey Lee Smith.
