Virginia Juanell Smith Bearden passed away February 20th, 2015 at her residence. Born in Fairmount, Texas she was a long time resident of Vidor. She was 82 years old. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Ida and Arthur Smith of Vidor; brothers, James Alton Smith of Orange and Norman Glenn Smith of Vidor. She is survived by her husband, Arnold A. Bearden; sons, David A. Bearden of Vidor and Michael L. Bearden of Vidor; daughters, Rebecca L. Cleveland and her husband R. Wayne Cleveland of Vidor, Audrey Gail Derby of Oregon, Robin Juanell Bearden-Collins of Nederland, grandchildren Melissa Bearden of Washington, Kevin and Andrew Hill of Vidor, Cody Cleveland and wife Jennifer Norris Cleveland of Vidor, Michael Bearden of Louisiana, Darla Jean Bearden of Vidor, Crystal Derby of New Jersey, Courtney Phillip Bohler and husband Caleb Bohler of Nederland, six great grandchildren and two great, great grandsons. She was a loving wife and mother. She ws a member of First Baptist Church of Vidor and a member of The Glory Band where she played the ukulele. She loved crafting, painting and growing her flowers. She will be missed. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2015 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Service will be held on Monday, February 23, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Vidor with interment to follow at Del Rose Cemetery in Vidor.
