Velma Lee Turner, 79, passed away on Wednesday, August 2nd, 2023, at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont. Born in Orange, TX, she was a beloved and longtime resident of Vidor. Velma was a driven and entrepreneurial spirit, having been the owner/operator of Yellow Rose Escort Service. In addition to her business endeavors, she embraced the digital age and became a talented content creator on platforms like Facebook and Tic Tok, where she shared her Nanny Hacks with an appreciative online community. Despite her busy schedule, Velma always made time for the things that mattered most. She found great joy in spending time with her family, especially during gatherings where they would come together to play cards and board games, creating cherished memories that would be treasured for generations. Velma is survived by her loving daughter, Jessie Lee Gooch of Vidor, TX, and her husband James H.. Her four grandchildren, Jason Gooch, Jerrod and his wife Amber Gooch, Brian, and Jim Sheffield, along with one bonus grandson, Coby Herford, were deeply cherished by her. Velma's two great-grandchildren, Hallee and Leela, brought her immense happiness and filled her life with love. Velma Lee Turner's warm smile, caring nature, and entrepreneurial spirit will be greatly missed by her family and friends. May she rest in peace, knowing the profound impact she had on the lives of those she touched.
