Sandy Bryson Lowery, 51, of Vidor went to her Forever Home on Thursday, September 15, 2011 surrounded by her family at her home. She was born June 2, 1960 in Flint, Michigan. Her Daddy is the late Bob Bryson and her mom is VJ Bryson. She was the youngest of 9 children which includes 4 brothers and 5 sisters. She graduated from Vidor High School in 1978. She loved riding horses, enjoyed barrel racing and competition riding. She loved fishing and motorcycle riding with her husband. She was Co-Owner of Dusty’s Trucking for over 25 years. Most recently she was employed for Vidor Florist. She lived in Vidor, Texas the majority of her adult life. She loved all animals and arts and crafts. She was a Roman Catholic and attended Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor. After battling cancer for over 15 years and finally beating it in 2009 she always found a way to give back to charitable organizations including but not limited to The American Cancer Society, The Leukemia Foundation and the ASPCA. Her greatest achievements were her children and grandchildren. She put 110% into everything she did and had the biggest heart you could imagine; always putting the needs of others first and always putting herself second. She is survived by her husband, Norman Lowery, son, Robert Lowery, daughters and son in laws, Chelsey and David Walters, and Lacey and Blaise Ruff and 4 grandchildren, Destiny Delli, Skyler Lowery, Catalina Walters, and Kayleigh Ruff. She is also survived by her mom, VJ Bryson, 3 sisters and 2 brothers. She was preceded in death by her daddy, Bob Bryson. Also preceding her were her sisters, Sandy Ely and Rhonda Laury and brothers, Jesse James Cooke and Robert (Bobby) James Cooke, and many beloved pets. Visitation will be held at Memorial Funeral Home in Vidor on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 6:00 pm with Father Paul Sumler doing a rosary at 7:00 pm. Pallbearers are Norman Lowery, Blaise Ruff, Kevin Norton, Harry Songe, David Walters and KB Warren. Honorary Pallbearers are Robert Lowery and Lester Finley. Graveside services will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Beaumont, Texas on Sunday, September 18, 2011 at 2:00 pm. Floral arrangements are being handled by Vidor Florist. “HE WILL WIPE EVERY TEAR FROM THEIR EYES. THERE WILL BE NO MORE DEATH OR MOURNING OR CRYING OR PAIN, FOR THE OLD ORDER OF THINGS HAS PASSED AWAY.”
