Ruby Isabella Taylor

Ruby I. Taylor, 94, of Vidor died Monday, November 27, 2006 at Trinity Care Center in Roundrock, TX. A native of Splunge, MS, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Ruby taught Cosmetology at Vidor High School for 15 years. She was a 50 year member of the Eastern Star lodge # 914, the Rebekah Vidor Lodge #192 and the Beaumont lodge #196. She was also a 25 year member of the ABWA and a member of First Baptist Church in Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Ebenezer Cemetery in Jasper at 2:00 p.m.. Visitation was held Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home. Ruby was preceded in death by her husbands Paul Lowery and Horace Taylor, and son Paul Lowery, Jr. She is survived by her son Gerald T. Lowery of Georgetown, TX, daughter-in-law Patricia Lowery of Vidor, TX, 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
