Rosie N. Whitmire

Rosie N. Whitmire, 86, of Vidor died Wednesday, January 8, 2010 at Vidor Health and Rehab Center. Rosie was born on August 23, 1923 in Beaumont, Texas to Robert and Mertle Revia. She was a lifelong resident of Vidor and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 11, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, January 10, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home. Rosie is survived by her son Bill Whitmire and his wife Patsy, 3 sisters Joan, Alice and Mary, grandchildren Celina Dobbs and Debbie Burns, 5 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild all of Vidor, TX.
