Penny Lynn Smith

Penny L. Smith, 50, of Vidor died Sunday, November 6, 2005 at her residence in Vidor. A native of Beaumont, TX, she was a lifelong resident of Vidor. Penny was a Cafateria Employee at Vidor High School for 10 years. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star of Vidor #914 since 1977 and was member of Pecan Acres Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 9, 2005 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Mansfield Cemetery in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 8, 2005 at Memorial Funeral Home. Penny is survived by her husband of 34 years Chester Smith of Vidor, TX, son: Jeffery Smith of Vidor, TX, daughters: Leisa Hester and her husband Odell of Vidor, TX, Cheryl Smith of Vidor, TX, father: Andrew Simmons and his wife Ophelia of Vidor, TX, mother: Edna Allen and her husband Herman of Vidor, TX, brothers: Andy and Charlie Simmons both of Vidor, TX, sister: Holly Jones of Vidor, TX, step-sisters: Quan, Lese, Shelia and Alice, 4 grandchildren .
