Noah Ray Cornell

Noah Ray Cornell, 83, of Vidor, TX died Friday, August 2nd, 2019 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, TX. Ray was a longtime resident of Vidor and Orangefield who loved spending time with his family. He also enjoyed attending Trinity Baptist Church and was active in the maintenance of the church. He was known for always helping people. Ray was also active in getting the Christian Care Center started and volunteered with the Baptist Disatster Relief in New Orleans during hurricane recovery operations. Ray is survived by his loving wife Patsy Cornell of 19 years, 1 daughter; Mary LeBleu and her husband Dan of Sulphur, LA, 2 sons; Paul E. Cornell and his wife Christina of Mauriceville, TX, and Marcus C. Cornell and his wife Erma of Minot, ND. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 1 sister; Nelda Phillips of Corpus Christi, TX along with numerous nieces and nephews. Ray was preceded in death by 1 brother; John "Jack" Cornell, 1 sister; Roberta Horn and 1 step-son; Leo Boone. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Trinity Baptist Church in Vidor.
