Micheal Ray Simmons Jr.

Micheal Ray Simmons Jr., 54, of Vidor, TX, died Friday, October 23, 2020 at Christus Dubuis Hospital in Beaumont, TX. He was born July 5, 1966 in Beaumont, TX the son of Micheal Simmons and Amanda Stockwell. He attended Vidor schools and graduated from Vidor High School in 1984, he was an All-Star football player, All-Star baseball player, Boy Scout member, as well as an honorary member of the state winning debate team. Michael was a master carpenter, little league football coach as well as an honorary country singer to all. Micheal is survived by his mother and step-father, Amanda and Robert Stockwell of Vidor, TX; his brother Kelly Simmons and wife Debbie of Beaumont, TX; sister Valerie Kennedy and husband Josh of Vidor, TX; step-sister Leslie Stockwell of Buna, TX. He leaves his nephews Brandon Simmons, Brady Simmons, and Johnathan Simmons and his nieces Vanessa Medford, Haley Simmons, Kate Charlton, and Maryjane Kennedy. Micheal was preceded in death by his father Michael Ray Simmons. A Memorial service will be held for MIchael at The Oaks, Monday, October 26, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm all family and friends are welcome to attend.
