Jim Dwyer

Jim Dwyer, 58, of Vidor, TX died Tuesday, January 15th, 2019 at M.D.Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. A native of Canyon, TX he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Jim worked in the telecommunications industry for many years and was a supervisor. In his spare time he liked to work and could fix everything but he also enjoyed helping others. Other things Jim enjoyed doing was dancing, listening to music, cooking, entertaining, and just joking around. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Jim is survived by his loving wife; Sharon Dwyer, 1 son; James Lee Dwyer of Lumberton, TX, 2 daughters; Christie Dwyer and Jamie Folse both of Nederland, TX. He also gained 3 additional daughters; April, Sonja, and Ashley along with 3 additional sons; Jeremy, Shane and Justin. Jim is also survived by 17 grandchildren; Cameron, Carson, Charisma, Brooklyn, Jay, Anthony, Christian, Liam, Jonathon, Audrey, Owen, Chase, Alex, Landen, Brielle, Cameron and Luke, 3 sisters; Ann, Sheryl, and Renee along with his father; Ed Dwyer. Jim was preceded in death by his mother; Opal Dwyer and a daughter; Meagan Watkins. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor.
