Jerry "Superman" Neal Campbell

Jerry N. Campbell, 77, of Vidor died Sunday, May 15th, 2016 at his residence. A native of Carbondale, Illinois, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Jerry retired from Dupont Sabine River Works in Orange after 45 years of service. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor and was a God fearing man. Jerry was a loving husband and father, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping with his family, but he was about his farm. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Visitation will begin at 6:30 pm and a rosary at 6:00 pm Friday, May 20, 2016 at Our Lady of Lourdes catholic Church. Jerry is survived by his son Jeffrey Neal Campbell and his wife Traci of Vidor, TX, daughters Jo Ann Campbell Neff of Vidor, TX, Karen DeDominico and her husband Mike of Beaumont, TX, Cynthia "Cyndie" D. Campbell of Vidor, TX, Patricia Lynn Miller and her husband Gary of Vidor, TX, brother-in-law Mark Stanton and his wife Jeannie of DuQuoin, Ill, 19 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 2 nieces, 1 nephews and 3 great nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Flo L. Treece Nevins and his wife of 55 years Linda Marie Stanton Campbell.
