Jeanette Whatley

Jeanette Whatley, 75, of Vidor died Friday, April 15th, 2016 in Beaumont. She was a lifelong resident of Vidor who liked to cook, fish and taking care of people. Jeanette especially enjoyed spending quality time with her friends and family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, April 18, 2016 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home with interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Jeanette is survived by 2 daughters, Carolyn Hampton of Vidor, and Deborah Coffie and husband Joseph of Vidor, 2 sons, Cecil Whatley of Vidor and Gary Whatley of Groves, 4 grandchildren, Leann Steele, Tarah Whatley, Cassie Vangundy and Brandon Coffie, 4 great grandchildren, Xavier Steele, Madison Steele, Isaiah Steele and Elijah Brackett. She is also survived by 2 brothers, Donald and Marvin Falgout and 2 sisters, Dorothy Sudduth and Joyce Hutto. Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Louis Cecil Whatley, 1 daughter, Vickie Whatley, 2 great grandchildren, Arianna Steele and Kyrian Whatley, and 1 brother, Charles Falgout.
